Well look what I've found

I have found some more information about the new update thanks to the wiki!!!

When I decided to browse through the vanity armor wiki page, I found new back items, some new wings.

Just by looking at some of the titles, you can immediately tell they are avian wings.
With the new Avian dungeon coming, it's obvious what they will be for.

I have also found the title of the new update.... PLEASED GIRAFFE

You can find it at the bottom of the page of one of the new wings.

Sort of. Katzeus has been uploading them to the wiki (I've mostly been helping edit after the fact) and I've been trying to keep everyone here and on reddit in the loop.
(and yea, all of this is on the nightly..) (plus, technically if it is on the wiki others have seen and uploaded it)

Chucklefish has contracted a community creator to make new dungeons!

The wings are mentioned and shown here in a couple spots, you can see the flapping in the first 3 images :

They already are. If it's on the wiki and referenced in so many places (see my post above), then it's on the Nightly.

 

I hope they work on some villages and dungeons for the Hylotl, and villages for Hylotl and humans

That's odd considering all the other racial stuff is old fashion oriental stuff.

 

those might be used for a hylotl village or a temple within the hylotl city. They might even be used for apartments in the hylotl city.

Oh I know, I just exspected fudal type stuff with there armor and tile set.... and comparing the tile sets and stuff for other villages....

florian - primitive
avian - kinda egypiony
Glitch - midevil
Hylotl - fudal
novakin - wild west
human - modern~somewhat high techish in places.
apex - high high tech

They all kinda had there own theme going in there armor and tile/object sets..... seams odd to brake that, thats what i mean

 

Hylotl is 80% "old" Japan yes (with a touch of Chinese here and there), but they also have a category of items/styles that is modern day. Right now the modern day is mostly a big arcade with neon signs and prizes to win.

Even the upcoming Hylotl mission mixes these styles. The building structures are all of the older styles, but most of the items within are modern day.. Which, when I think about it, kind of makes sense. The buildings are preserved from older times, just like they are (in some regions) in real life. I may take a screenshot of a mission room for you.

Hylotl are more advanced tech than even Apex from what I understand. Its kinda "so advanced its simple" vibe.

 

I totally like these new vanity stuff, i am so pleased.

You can get to it in game with the right command IIRC.
