Biography: (Tell us in one or more sentences on how your character came to join the USSP) When the UGWP was wiped out by the Corporation, Alex's family fled from Novasgrad to a Human labor planet several lightyears away where the Corporation would not find them. There, Alex worked hard at a young age, and as time went by, she heard of a new UGWP called the USSP. She packed up her bags, and used the all the money she got from over the years, with some additional help from her parents, and got a small spaceship. Then, she set off to join the USSP.

Why you wish to join: While I was looking for people to play StarBound with, I thought "It would not be a bad idea to roleplay." So in search of a good story to start Starbound Roleplay I found USSP. I want to be dedicated in this storyline.

Character’s name: Duath Luminarus (Dooh-AH-th Looh-MEE-Nah-Rus))

Gender: Male

Division Wanted: Science as perceived by himself, yet considered as Military by the others (Please read Bio for more information)

Race: Human

Biography: He was born in an politically-isolated planet, named Sig-Antarus far away from the home system of USSP. Grown in Sig-Antarus, he was pure and comepletely unaware of any other existence than the tribes in his land. However, in an expansion mission of USSP, the planet was accidentally put into a total destruction. At the same time, he was picked up by a curious old scientist who was observing the planet for its use. Astounded by Duath's capability to learn and absorb scientific knowledge, the old scientist raised Duath in a laboratory for both experimental and assistive purposes. Duath is loyal to his old "father", but no one knows his origin, yet others believe he would be an experimentation of the old scientist. After death of the old scientist, he starts his exploration on planets to continue his "father"'s work and unearth his own curiosity. He often abandons his superiors' orders in order to do his own work of "science", yet he becomes all stiff and frozen in front of Ministers and Premiers, afraid of their look which, for him, seems very similar to the old scientist. For this reason of frequent disobedience, he is often regarded with contempt and even disgust, and under a careful observation.
In his military service, he often deals with large creatures due to his endurance and strength with his tall, large appearance.

Why you wish to join: I make Let's Plays and the videos I make of Starbound are planned to be roleplayed anyway, so it seems obvious that a roleplay group is the way to go! Call it an excuse to talk in a Russian accent, but I'll call it finding people to help with YouTube videos.

Biography: After Earth was destroyed, a lone human began planet hopping here and there, collecting fuel and surviving in any way he could. One such hop slammed his ship directly into another ship with the letters USSP on it. The man inside demanded compensation and hollared profanities as his ship was rather badly damaged. Our hero, known as Vance, obliged... Only to end up alone when the man from the damaged ship was eaten by creatures on the planet below. He did spout off about going back to headquarters to report his smashed ship and it was pretty easy to get coordinates after he was alien food.. Might as well check it out!

Biography: Birdo is a Hylotl who went out from his planet because he want to explore the universe. In an uninhabited planet he met Marcpollo, a human who crashed in that planet, and Birdo helped him. Because of that, Marc told him about a confederation of which he had heard called USSP. Birdo and Marc travelled around various planets in search of ores and other things of value, and at the end the decided to visit the USSP, and now here they are.

Character’s name: Xavier E. Norman

Gender: Male

Division Wanted: Military, but he's interested in Science as well.

Race: Floran

Biography: Fate can be one fickle and cruel mistress. At the time this little one was but a few years of age, a large group of violent Hylotl, whose sole purpose was to eradicate the universe of all things Floran, invaded the large village where he resided. The first wave of Hylotl was taken care of with a few casualties, but the seemingly unending waves eventually wore the Floran numbers thin. By the time the Hylotls have retreated, there were naught but the few children that hid for shelter and only one adult left. As luck would have it, the last adult had been traveling the world in his prime, and had made friends with a few people from the USSP.

After calling for help from an old intergalactic transmitter the lone adult hid below his home, he looked after the children. It was about two weeks before a USSP cargo ship landed right next to the remains of the village. The survivors were taken in, and the ship flew to a nearby USSP-protected planet. The children were then picked up by people who had agreed to take them in.

Our young little Floran, Exarn, was taken in by a young human couple from the main planet. At first, he was violent and lashed out, demanding to see his older brethren and sisters in what little language he knew. As months passed by, he became tamer through the couple's kindness, and got to know them better. They were both scientists for the USSP, and as such, did a lot of work in their homes as well as out. This, coupled with Exarn's curiosity, made him become interested in the scientific field.

It's been years since Exarn had been taken in by his wonderful human stepparents, and has taken a more human name during his stay with them. He helped the couple with their science, and got to enjoy life with other fellow Florans and races of all kinds as he grew up. He still had the hiss all Florans have, but it was tamed as he grew. He would've been a scientist, but his inner Floran nature had pushed him to the Military. Of course, that doesn't stop him from popping by the other scientists and lending a helping hand or two.
