he is there, my friend found him last night, use the spike ball to go all the way around

 

Yup. It takes a while, but either bring a lot of rope, a grappling hook, or the spike tech.

It seems the quest was replaced with it being in a crate. So if the NPC attempts to fly to Kleux you should be good.

You know you can just use the spiky morph sphere to get under the outpost. It takes longer but it's way less dangerous

 

i found the demon mask inside the cargo container, there is no quest.

 

I miss all the creative little quests there used to be around the outpost.

Does anyone know why they were all removed?

 

Before 1.0, the entire system of progression was based around them. When they implemented the story those quests got taken away. Personally, I didn't mind a few of them, but that coffee one literally made me question my life

 

I found the place as well, but he didn't give me a quest, just saying he had reasons for hiding down there. Found the mask in his little storage crate...

That's cause there's no quest anymore. It was there back during the beta.
