    Haha, he's not a slave, he's a scientist. He's in chains because at one point he was in prison. I can't say much more about it because there'd be too many spoilers. Fringe is a sacred show that must be watched from beginning to end. Put down your anime good sirs & madams, pick up something Fringie. Especially if you have one of those rare & elusive Nielsen ratings boxes.
