Yep, most activity the can has had in a while, also, unfortunately, there is no way to make it so multiple people can edit the OP, so I cannot add all the new GOIs and members and such to the OP.

Good idea...but not plausible. Our leader is not AWOL, he still comes on and still posts(rarely). This would not apply to us, he is still on, but just not good at editing the OP. So, it is entirely up to the Director still.
It would help us out a lot though to have a current, up to date OP.

 

Well I mean it in the way that, I know our director is not AWOL, however, we operate as a republic, so to speak, and we need the OP editable by the council. Let's say the O5-D goes on "vacation" again, and we get an influx of new people. Then what? But, I don't know. It really was just a suggestion.

 

Maybe we should make a new thread? Seems to me that an un-updated OP would seriously deter our ability to have a central source of information rather than having to scroll though our 20 (+, for all you archaeologists out there) pages of conversation.

Why would we post in the old thread? Then our new thread would fall away and become disused due to the fact that posts in the forum boost it to the top.

Hey I've got an idea, what if we have a system where researchers must be part time MTFs, so they have to be on an MTF for like 10% of their hours worked per year. Full time MTF workers would probably have higher ranks within their chosen MTFs. Sound like a good idea?
