I edit the JSON files like the .gun files and try to mess around with it but it no longer responds to any changes in the JSON file when I go back into the game. Anyone know what to do? I tried editing the hand position but nothing works.
There is no "Live Edits" When dealing with items - you must create a new item and reload assets to see changes When dealing with objects you can just reload the assets - either by using /reload in admin mode. Or quitting and reloading game.
I tried quitting and reloading the game but nothing happened. I was able to change the damage and other stuff earlier but it won't change anything now.
Weapons are Items not objects. Which means you must create an entirely new weapon to see changes. It does not edit the currently existing weapon ( item ) So Seeing changes to items require 2 steps. Reload Assets Create new Item
