of SM? If you want to unpack it, just use Starbound's asset_unpacker.exe But Survivalist is still unplayable. You could fiddle with it tho! (Maybe you'll learn how to mod and create an even better version of it :O )

Regarding the durability, you might be right, I was yesterday trying to add that to weapons and other tools but to no avail. Maybe with some script, who knows. Would surely be a great feature. In the absence of this, maybe one can fiddle around with stamina and somehow have it reduced until certain gear, potions or upgrades are used. This way improved weapons can be made less useful in the early game if they need more stamina... not sure. In any case, your mod does sound very tempting

Seeing how there haven't been updates to this for a long time, I'd like to take up the mantle and provide an update. With the authors permission of course (I'll work on it quietly but won't release it until I've got his express permission)
