Bug/Issue Spookits crash the game

I was getting this glitch since the release(that's when I bought the game) and it annoys me more and more.

Shoot a Spookit that didn't detect the player yet. Everything stops, all entities are frozen in place and I can't interact with anything. I need to close the game from task manager because alt+f4 just make the game completely crash without closing the game.
I'm trying to get to Spookit before attacking to trigger it but sometimes I forget about it, I shoot non-triggered Spookit and around in ~60% of cases my game stops.
Already uninstalled the game once.
No mods. Windows 10 x64, windowed mode.
