Closed So how exactly does the 4-pack work?

Has anybody bought this?
How exactly do you give the stuff away?

I feel like I need to know this information before I make a mistake and buy copies and end up unable to give them away or something.

 

You probably can make 4 accounts.

 

1. You open your email. Click the link from the HumbleBundle email.
2. You give other people three of the four links that show up.
3. One of them is for you.
4. Redeem.

Anyone else having problems with this process? I got into my page, claimed my first key and the rest seem to be broke. Bottom 3 have links like:

https://humblebundle.com{0}

instead of:

https://humblebundle.com/s?gift=*code removed*

anyone else seeing this problem? How do I fix?

 

You should try contacting Humble Store, it seems like they're generating bad URL-s. Try contact [at] humblebundle [dot] com.

 

It goes through the humble store, so they e-mail you a page with 4 gift links on it. You can then send the links out to people for them to click, from then which they're able to claim a page that has the Starbound order on it with their humble account, therefore killing the gift link. This page has the game keys, soundtrack, etc on it.

 

I just bought a four pack and I'm getting this too, gonna try emailing them.

I do have the same problem, all 4 of my 4 pack links are broken

 

I also was having this problem with the broken links, but I just double checked, and they are all unique now. Maybe they're just gradually starting to work?

 

Bartwe just posted on IRC saying the issue with null keys from Humble Store 4-pack purchases should now be solved. To anyone affected, try reopening the URL that came in your mail.

Couple reasons:

• The question's answered. No need to answer it a second time. That's what you scroll down and read for.
• Courtesy. You're trying to 1-up someone who answered a question.

You're new, so you probably didn't know. Relax.

 

How is answering a question and then mirroring a response rude. That would imply that the original question or response was somehow derogatory. I don't understand these forum shenanigans of yours.
