What I would like to see in Starbound would be smart moving. Such as: Swinging (From ropes and bars or vines etc) Prone (Lie down so that you can go under stuff easy, or make secret rooms!) Crouch (For precise aiming with guns and what not.) Cliff Grabbing (Just about to fall down, but manage to grab onto that edge of the cliff and bring yourself up.) Diving (Don't just simply jump into water, dive into it.) Sprint (Run for your life!) Push & Pull (There is a boulder in the way, or there is a log you must push over to get over the lake.) Slide (Sprint and go prone and slide your way under things.) I think this would add to the creation for parkour maps and even just for dire action needs in escaping for epic fun. What do you guys think?
Sliding would be pretty sweet. You could make a 1 block high slide entrance to your base (assuming sliding reduces your height to 1 block). Maybe blocks like mud could let you slide further?

This would be pretty cool, but some of these would not fit well in the game. Like the Push/Pull. Hard to implement if most of what you encounter is landmass. Also some of them would make it feel extremely platformish like sliding and cliff hanging. I know Tiy wanted platforming to be part of the experience. Just don't know how important a roll it will play yet.
Double tap forward for a roll. Double tap forward and press jump to dive. hold shift to grab onto ledges or objects, keeping holding shift then press left or right to pull or push. maybe after these it’ll get confusing, could wok. Would love to see this kind of thing in the game. makes it much more Dynamic.
Run while pressing crouch + double tap forwards to roll. (Preference) I would also love to see this in the game.
Smart moving would definitely be awesome, but 20 ways to move would be a bit overkill. I think walking, running, sneaking, jumping and climbing would be enough.
