Fast Animations is a SMAPI mod that speeds up some game animations so you spend less time waiting. By default each supported animation is sped up to take less than a second, but you can change the speed by editing the config.json. See the Nexus page for details and downloads.
Here's version 0.2 with faster eating, drinking, milking, shearing, and geode-breaking. This is an early prototype only available in this thread. Does it work for you? What other animations should it support? Would you find this useful? Try it out and post any feedback, bugs, or suggestions here.
Fast Animations 1.0 is now available! There are no changes since Fast Animation 0.2, it's just not prerelease anymore.

Fast Animations 1.2 is now available! This updates everything to the latest Stardew Valley 1.2 release.
Do you think you could speed up the animation of the fish/junk flying towards you after catching something?

Good idea ! Do you think it would be possible to accelerate the speed of animation when watering plants, and especially when charging the improvement of the watering can? Thanks
@Sinaam You can use tool charging until/if Pathos decides to implement it. It'll speed up the charge speed of both the watering can and hoe, though not the animation that occurs after.
One more suggestion if you don't mind....instant exploding bombs. Those would be great in mines especially when used with infinite health mod.

Fast Animations 1.2.1 is now available! This just updates the code to the latest SMAPI 1.14, to fix deprecation warnings.
Both done in the upcoming Fast Animations 1.3. Not added in 1.3, but there's a ticket to look into it for a future release.
