Anyone have any suggestions what mods that are out there that would add to a deeper immersion of character and game for RP like servers?
I don't believe currently any RP mods really exist which are updated. A few old mods existed ( no longer compatible ) like Mutagen mod and my Starbound New Origins, Also Survival Mod I believe its name was. After that, I don't think anymore have been made.
Generally speaking it takes quite a bit of work to make one. In my case - it took around 150 hours or so just to lay the basic frame work. After 3 months from my release - the entire method of modding was completely overhauled. Since I already edited about 1200 files at the time, having to do it a second time wasn't something I was eager to do. So I am just waiting until near final release before I underatake another major project like that again.
Swat is right. When the stable update came, I had to update FrackinUniverse (then FrackinFlora, before i renamed it). It took about 2-3 months to do all my files. I had 7000. if they change it around again, i have 2000 more files than I did at that point. SUPER FUN!
