Well, the food bowl was removed for 1.2, but I'd quite like to have one for my pet anyway. It adds a nice aesthetic touch, and automation mods would make it actually rather fun to set up an automated feeding system, but I can't do that without the actual food bowl, now can I? If anyone would be willing to mod back in the food bowl, I'd be very happy with them.
I think some of the existing pet mods currently do this, unless I'm mistaken. Plus you can get pet houses, choose your pet, and it isn't tethered to SAIL anymore.
