I hope that Starbound will be released in this year 2014 and I hope it will be released to other platforms such as PS Vita . I wish Starbound will add steam cloud storage so it will be more convenience . I hope that the save won't disappeared as well
1. The devs have not set a concrete date for the full release, since we are still firmly in beta stage one of three. Full release might be some time away, and they are unlikely to give an exact date until very close to when it actually happens. 2. Past announcements from the developers have indicated that they will consider ports to Playstation (including the Vita, if I recall) at a later date. 3. Steam Cloud has not been confirmed, but has been suggested dozens of times by the community. Support for it may well happen. 4. There may still be patch-induced wipes to planets and universes, but no more to characters (and also ships, I think). This does not exclude accidental save wipes, such as from power loss or a corrupted file.
