ps4 attach tackle

hello i have the iridiumrod and various tackle items but i simply cannotworkout how to attachthem!

 

You pick up the bait/tackle and have it in your cursor. Hover over the rod and press whichever button is equivalent to the X button on a 360 controller. Sorry, don't know the buttons for PS4 controller.

Edit: I looked it up. Press Square over the rod while you're holding the bait/tackle.

R1 also works to attach both bait and tackle
