    Hi

I just bought Stardew Valley on Steam today. Unfortunately I tried to play since I have it but it doesn't work. After my first save (doing my character and discover the farm); the game crash just one minute after on my day one.

I am on mac. I still looking for answers. I really don't know what to do to play.

    Hope you could help me.

    I already have :
    - checked the integrity of the game files
    - tried to start over again (with and without the intro)
    - uninstall and reinstall the game on steam

Thank you so much in advance.

Could you post your error logs.

      Location: ~/.config/StardewValley/ErrorLogs/

I have similar problem, but I've played the mac version for 60+ hours previously, and have stopped playing for a few months. Yesterday I downloaded the updates (for both OSX and Stardew Valley) and started playing again, however it crashes all the time. I can barely get through one day without crashing. It happens very randomly, sometimes just by walking around, then the game will freeze, and the laptop will not respond, and I would have to force shut by pressing the power button.

I tried to find the Errorlog but couldn't find the folder.
I've also tried to run using sudo ./StardewValley, but still have the same problem. On restarting the laptop, the Terminal that I left open while running the game returns below message (not sure if it's useful?):

        Xiaoyaos-MacBook:MacOS xiaoyao$ sudo ./StardewValley

Xiaoyao, could you also try a system search of the error logs. The game saves the error logs like this, with X's being random numbers. "Ruby_142562394_XXXXXX.txt"
So, maybe search for something like "Ruby_142562394_"
It'll probably find the error logs, and the backup saves.

But, yea the terminal output isn't too specific with details. Are you using any mods? It sounds like a memory issue or something; especially if it's freezing up the whole laptop.

Thanks for the reply! I can't find anything with that name apart from my actual save files.
I don't have any mods either, so I'm going to try uninstall and reinstall the game. (hope the save files I copied to my computer will still work!)
