At this point the Chargen has been released, and I figured it would be awesome for everyone to post what cool kinds of characters they made!

One or two of you might recognise her, and with a bit of luck, she doesn't look like a well known fictional character...

 

Also, when you hit button "create character", you can download the character image. At first, it have .part extension, so you need to rename it to .png

 

Is this pony? This is as pony as starbound gets, I suppose.

Yes, rename it and you shall be rewarded... with your new avatar!

How did everyone get the transparent backgrounds? Mine came with an ugly white one!

 

It's supposed to spit it out with one. Make sure you rename the image to something.png.

 

Did you download it from the "create character" button?

 

Try renaming it with .png instead of Jpeg.

 

sry to interupt but this is the only thread left about the chargen.
how long does it takes to load ? for me it just keep saying "loading..." its been 10minutes now

edit : ok so a damn lot of people are liking this post, i assume its because they have the same problem.
here's the solution : the chargen dosent work with IE for the time being

 

It should have loaded instantly. Try refreshing.
