I've had a confusing few days until someone pointed it out to me - the x64 install of Starbound doesn't include the json unpackers and repackers {and also planet map generator executable... whatever that does, but I am curious}. Since they will still work in a x64 environment, are useful for tooling around and don't take up much installation space, can they be re-included come next update?
the planet map executable does what it says on the tin, it generates a map of a planet. in the form of a png, it's a command line tool. it can take a bunch of different types of inputs and generate the planet map, but sadly not a file which would be awesome because we could make screenshotting of worlds a bit easier. here is an example of me using it I know I just told you about it on discord but I'm just putting the word out in case some one gets curious.
