Id love a Metriod esque suit, like the one samus wears.

I want laser sniper rifles and maybe throwing knifes which will teleport to enemy in front.

 

Hmm, i was thinking there will be lots of gore on starbound? :O

 

Some kind of X-Grade Bioweapon for completely cleansing a planet of all living things, leaving only a harsh desert with 0 atmosphere in its wake. Just 'cause.

 

they want it to be cartoon violence, so probably not alot of gore. but the enemies do explode when you kill em

 

Did you base that off that one screenshot of Tiy shooting one of those exploding crab monsters?

 

no one of the devs ( i cant remember which one ) said the stuff about cartoon violence and enemies exploding

edit: here i found it: <Ras__> I want to know if enemies will blow up into gory pieces in this game, or if they will just go POOF and drop gold?

<@legris> Ras__ they'll blow up in pieces, at least its that way now but its not really bloody or anything, we're aiming for cartoony violence.

I want laser guns that don't do any damage, but just stun the creature you hit and making them immobile. This would be useful for capturing creatures, and for PVP for playing laser tag or something.

 

Hope enemies die according to the weapon you used to kill it, that would be awesome.

 

I cant stop remembering killing The Twins with a FLAME THROWER and then they EXPLODE!

 

as long as i get my Spartan Laser and Light Disks, i'll be fine.
also, a Wave Motion Gun add-on to the Space Station would be great.

Why use a lightsaber, or a phaseblade, or a phasesaber? It's just as easy to use a PHASE BATTLEAXE. Actually I have no idea how that would even work but it'd be great. A laser whip would be really cool, too.

I hope there are random funny weapons too in the game. For example a cannon that shoots exploding beavers would be pretty funny
