Official(ish) Spaceship/Vehicle/Transportation Speculation Thread!

I would like to stay away from too much mechanical transportation.
From my understanding, that stuff will require alot of "teching" up. So I imagine all the early-mid game transportation will be animals.

I just want a star to ride kirby style I would be happy roaming the universe on it.

 

The first mount you have should be a basic horse-like mount, then you start to unlock mechanical transportation. However, the animal mounts should improve at the same pace as the mechanical transportation, so you can choose, say, between a light dropship and a pterodactyl, each with their own advantages. For example, the mechanical mounts will be mainly focused on firepower and carrying capacity, whilst the animal mounts should be focused on speed and up-close damage (i.e. claws). However, there should be tough animals and fast vehicles, to add variety.

Might want to sprite another leg behind the first one to make it look in Mid walk. but thats fairly good!

This is what i want in the game to be mountable, It should be like an easter egg joke item

 

Some kind of drilling vehicle would be useful.
Not to mention a mobile heavy weapons platform.

 

Oh I didn't think of that... maybe they could make a TTGL reference and have a robot with a Drill arm.

 

ooh having exoskeletons from reboot would be pretty awesome, as well as that drilling ship from motherload.

If there is one, I'll hope I have money to buy the game 11 times. Because 11 is my favorite number.

 

A huge space station with a giant cannon and missile launchers on it, ready to exterminate a planet from orbit at any time.

As for smaller vehicles, a drill for underground mining would be amazing.
