Hi there! I hope you can help me with something.
My dvd drive isn't working. It's got power, but i can't find any trace of it on my PC.

A few months ago i got a new internal hard drive, but one of the interior power cables was broken, preventing the PC from launching. I didn't have enough working cables to attach both hard drives and the DVD drive, so i left the DVD drive unconnected and finished getting my new hard drive working. The new hard drive took the letter D:\ - which is what the DVD drive used to have.
I recently got a new internal power cable and i've just attached my DVD drive to the power, but it's not appearing. I'm thinking it's upset that my new hard drive took its D:\ and it doesn't know what to do.

I tried googling it but none of the fixes worked. There is no DVD/CDrom section in my Device manager, so i can't do anything there. Any ideas?
[EDIT] Found the problem. One of the wires came off last time i closed it
