Nakedness should be an option on character creation. What if my character's pants got burned up, or he misplaced his shirt? I do not know why the only way to make a character look naked during character creation is by modding a set of clothing to not have a visible sprite. This should definitely be an allowable choice.
I'd settle for a second clothesless sprite preview during character creation, allowing you to view those options that aren't easily examined, like Undy Color for humans, or Belly Button for Novakids.
I just wanted to update with the information that "naked" clothing options already exist within the files: actual clothing items without a sprite, worn by the Penguin NPC in the Outpost. I would vastly prefer an option for "no clothing" instead of invisible clothing, but either works really.
Maybe even visibility switches beside the head, chest and legs clothing slots. No need for another clothing item just switch the relevant clothing section off.
