Inspired by Stardew Valley, I decided to doodle on my iPad. I thought this little image came out nicely.
Oh no the moon! It's all distorted... this is majoras mask all over again... But anyways, very nice picture.
I actually really like this. I especially love the sky; I've always been a sucker for nighttime scenes. Good job.
Thank you Even when I work in traditional media, I tend to make my moons distorted. Not sure why really. Well thank you! I really love the name Stardew. It's evokes a very peaceful feeling for me, and I love night scenes as well! Who's Mumin? Lol, the house is actually inspired by Stardew valley but done in my style. I tend to draw veryirganic mushroom looking buildings. Perhaps my drawing has been influenced by video games more than I've realized. Thanks for the support shadow! for you!
Mopy, don't tell me you don't know who Mumins are?! And yeah, when you told me - it really looks like more like mushroom then Mumin's house
Oh my lord. That's amazing! I thought it was painted or something. It reminds me of that Starry Night painting.
Actually, I did it with Art Studio on my ipad. I've been exploring my ipad as an art tool more recently, and it's fun seeing what the various apps are capable of. When I'm on my computer however, I tend to use Gimp 2.0. I have the most experience using Photoshop, but they like to charge more than a small computer for their product, so I downloaded Gimp sometime last year. While I would not attempt to edit photos or create collages with Gimp, I can't imagine using any other software for pixel art and small digital illustrations.
I found gimp a little bit annoying with the file extensions..... Then I switched to pixen which is AMAZING but there is that file extension problem on macs (the problem is the files end in pxi or avi) Also which art studio? The 5.49 one?
