Hi! I just stared playing Stardew valley, and my very heavy modding finance introduced me to it. I was hoping to learn how to go about doing this on youtube or on a forum, but I can't seem to find anything for modding on a Mac. Is it something can be done yet? Or is this still in the works? Thanks for your responses ahead of time! and Sorry if this is a repeat post, I tried really hard to look before posting.
Recently SMAPI has included functionality that makes all mods cross-platform, no matter what platform the dll is compiled on, despite that, I personally recommend modding on windows, as debugging on osx or linux seems to be nearly impossible.
Read the page over on http://canimod.com/guides/creating-a-smapi-mod to learn about creating a mod. If you know how to program it should be easy to get adjusted. Debugging on OSX is possible I got it working the other day
