Pre-Edit: Found the original song. GPU is raping all its glory.

 

I'm thinking about trying my hand at this, by composing a song specifically to play with the instrument. Half of my time would probably be spent converting the .instrument definition into a SoundFont2 file to tinker with in my sequencer, though

 

You will become a deity if you actually manage to get an instrument badly done on purpose to be something artistic. Prize aside, that's a huge title.

Hey, I found an instrument you should check out , a "Jew's harp" or juice harp, good yokle sound and simple to sample

I have no need to be so rude I've been busy lately but I haven't forgot about this (the game maybe, but not my instruments). When I find the time I may revamp things here, but no plans on adding any new instruments.

 

Harpsichord has remain untouched for various patches. Just know I have tested Harpsichord on Starbound Composer and works as expected. If you could provide more information I may be able to help you

 

I was able to reproduce your issue. Althought I have no goddamn idea why it just happens with harpsichord... I know how to workaround the issue
unpack the assets of the mod instead of letting Starbound composer manipulate the .modpak directly, that should solve it.
