The title says it all. I upgraded to the third house upgrade and all of my wallpapers(beautiful and hard earned room designs >.<) etc are gone.

Look over the Save File Editing Guide in this section. Open the folder where your user-data for Stardew Valley is located which is located at the following address in Windows 10:

      C:\Users\%User Account Name%\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\

Before proceeding, create a copy of your data. Create a new folder and name it 'Backup'. Enter the folder named 'Saves', select all folders, right-click and select copy. Return to the starting directory stated above, enter the 'Backup' and then right-click and press paste.

Now, from the starting directory, enter the 'Saves' folder and and enter the folder with the name of the character you want to edit. Open the file which has the name of your character by double clicking the file and selecting Notepad. Select Edit -> Find... and search for wallpaper. It should say something like <wallpaper />. Select that text and replace it with the text shown in the attached image named code.jpg. Change the numbers between the <int></int> blocks to select a desired wallpaper. 0 represents the default wallpaper. 1to7-with_int_position.jpg shows the wallpapers for the values 1 to 7 with the texts 'First', 'Second', etc. representing the first, second, etc. <int></int> blocks.

If you're uncomfortable or this is too confusing, upload your file here and list the wallpapers you want in each room.

[Edit]The wiki page for wallpaper shows you all the available wallpapers. Select the wallpaper you want and note the name. For example, for the palm tree wall paper, note the name is Wallpaper_002.png and subtract 1. The number for this wallpaper is thus 1, not 2.
