Here's my current ship ^^

 

Recently finished my ship, my only regret is I didn't have the space to fit a bathroom in.

Wait, what do you mean "no space for a bathroom"? I see plenty of empty space and redundant space in there.

 

Personal aesthetics, my child. A bathroom has to be against a wall so characters don"t have to travel through the bathroom to get to any part of the ship, pet peeve.

plus showers are really tall and uncompromising when it comes to the space they need to actually place and still they need to be integrated with other bathroom themed items as well.

I feel i would be sacrificing too much to section off the space needed to do the job proper.

 

I agree, I see plenty of room for a bucket ...

In all seriousness though, it's the reason I like Madtulips mod, if I don't have enough space for something I can just extend the ship a bit to accommodate it.

 

If i did it again i might replace the war room with the medbay and then place the bathroom on the end there, I really like that war room though.

 

This is my vessel. She's not finished yet, but I'm waiting for the next update before completing her.

Here's my 1st Vanilla Playthrough Character's ship. I really like the stuff you can do with Florans.
Flora's got a tendency to stab anything that moves on 2 legs... or anything that moves at all.

 

Since the first one got some good feedback (and i like showing off the stuff i build):
Here's the one i'm currently working on in a modded run:

I imagined Aero as a brave explorer who believes in science and religion.
So i tried to reflect that in his ship.

 

A couple more customs...




Once again built with my custom ship mod, in conjunction with FU and HPB. I especially like the look of the Floran Mushroom ship, but that Avian Phaser cannon is impressive as well

 

It's definitley still unfinsihed

my crew has their rooms themed after their race so they feel more at home on my ship because i love my tiny crew :'>

This is an interesting thread! I'll try to finish up my own spaceship in the next couple weeks and then feature it on this discussion. I have a couple of interesting rooms so far, but it's mostly just disorganised crafting-station mess. I just can't be bothered making my ship pretty! Considering the fact that I completed the game almost exactly 5 months ago, I am pretty lazy!

 

It's more conceptually than technically. Anyway, very good work!
