Incomplet Pixel Printer ?

Hi , so for do it short , i've see (and scan (and pick up)) a Themed Chess Table from a glitch castle (that http://starbounder.org/Themed_Chess_Table ) , but i've see it wasnt in the pixel printer , so what , its a fail from devs ?

Also with a mod who add crafting table for be able to craft all by race i've search it too and it wasnt in the list too , also i've noticed its a rare item (blue) maybe blue rarity furniture arent craftable ?

Edit : rare item cannot be crafted even after scan, but the main problem is some common "white" item arent craftable even after scan. i've check for other blue rarity glitch item in pixel printer + the glitch crafting table (from a mod) , and they both have 0 rare item in the list .

If you see one of them in your travel , consider to steal them , if its only one or two things in the city, people won't turn mad about you.

Yeah, missing a lot of stuff here, too.
IMHO it also needs a crafting station tab so that you can print things like Medieval Furnaces, Cooking Pots, Chic Cooking Stations, etc.
One might argue that it'd be unfair that you could print them when other people have to craft similar items, but by the time you have the printer you already have all that stuff anyway. It's incredibly annoying when I'm building a town but have to source some of the most important items from other friendly towns instead of making them myself.

 

Yeah but in the worst case , i've dig a town/castle then i've reset the planet for fix my "grief" and done.

If you want to get around it in a semilegit way, find the wiki page on what you want, check the pixel price and the item id.
Use /spawnitems to spawn yourself the items you want and destroy the equivalent of voxels from the pixel compressor.

Nope and with all stuff i've collect in previous updates and after the general wipe i've use commands some time ^^

 

Many of the paintings aren't... Look at the hylotl collection. Heck the protectorate stuff isn't. Hopefully things will get tuned and added... At least most the stuff I scanned are printable. There was only a small fraction of things that were not. Seems like 10%.

Wonder if I'll ever come across floran prisons.. Wonder if that has been taken out... They had some nice beds.

 

indeed, thats sad I scanned that steampunk clock and its not in the printer. danm in that case I should have taken it with me. but soemhow the game still knows its scanned as it chnged color so I guess devs just need to put it on the printers table.

 

You cant cuz its a blue item , so when you see them , take them x)

 

Every item is blue before its scanned and then turns red once scanned. The exception being stuff your are looking for in your current "find x stuff to locate mission", those are green.

 

yes i did scanned it but when the printer can't print it then just scanning was a bit pointless.

i didn't paid attention if it changed color, dammit would eb good to knwo if it chanegd color, but I think ti did.

 

I REALLY wish that the "Chic Cooking Table" could be crafted or printed. I kinda hate the look of the craftable Kitchen Counter because it looks like a medieval cart or something and I prefer more modern-looking stuff for my settlements.

 

You still can give you the item with command , try "/spawnitem outpostcookingtable" (after "/admin" of cours) , ctrl+v work in game so you can copy command.

About food i often use Rustic Oven (from avian) but the medieval cooking pot isnt bad too (both still in glitch theme).

 

I agree, the craftable cooking station doesn't fit in

 

A lot of stuff is missing in the crafting printer list, even normal quality items, like ovens for a quick example.

When he says blue he means blue quality items, they show blue in your bag, he doesn't mean blue before a scan.

 

ontop you can craft cooked stuff and fry stuff on that atble yet simple meat or chicken can't be cooked there so you hve to keep a nice extra "campfire".

 

Yes ofc i speak about the rarity , not the scan status.

 

Do we know if there are any plans to fix this? I started noticing myself just how many things couldn't be printed - normal, average things like white flowerpots and stoves. Rare things I can understand completely. But simple decorative items? That seems more like someone forgot to put them in the code. I can print fire flowers and cactus pots, but not white flowers. That doesn't make sense.

 

We should make a list maybe , i've find some mod for crafting but you must check if it at what you ask (specialy white rarity item).

It was Universal crafting if i'm right.

 

If you could print everything it would take the point of finding rare things away. Go exploring, set a list of items you really want and go look for them, be accomplished. Or be a dirty cheater, either way you can obtain the things you're looking for.
