I found a dog on the game, can i adopt him?

There's an identical setup right next to spawn at X Mu Nor Minoris I a (x-14961420 y-64212296) just like 1 screen to the right.

i saw attacking sprites for them doges in the files but that hasñ't actually been implemented in the game yet.

for now they are vanity pests

I was able to get a dog on a capture pod like this
1. I got the a low LOW weapon that does like 3 damage
2. When he was below 50% i got him
3. Get the smarter pets mod
4. Enjoy

 

Rukashu, I got a dog just like the one in your picture! You just need a capture pod, and a dog below half health! Assuming you didn't already get one, though.

If you have a broken protectorate broadsword, swipe it at him until he's low health. Then, throw a capture pod at him. If you don't have these items just do these commands: /admin, /spawnitem protectoratebroadsword, /spawnitem capturepod, /admin. Hope I helped. (Please note that this in 1.11)
