I found a dog on the game, can i adopt him?

Couldn't the "Gotta Catch em All" mod be used to let you catch dogs? (Is it updated to Furious Koala yet?)

 

I just found a doggy too, why must they put things there we can't have yet. :[

 

acording to one of the devs, they will be catch-able next update
whenever that is.....

Yes. You can catch him if you get him below 50% health. I caught 2.

have i to say that i have windows?? i think i read a post a while ago, which said window and mac/linux have different coords...........hm....

Damn, that sucks. Still, I got my fair share out of those little buggers when I inspected them as an Avian. "Some indescribable horror" you say? What if I told you that you were probably exactly like that 1000 years ago?

You can capture dogs now as of v. Enraged Koala, you weaken them to 50% health and then capture them with a Capture Pod, they won't attack monsters but they will follow you around, and they work on ships

 

A friend and I walked past this dog on the street that was licking its crotch.

My friend says, "Man, I wish I could do that."

I says, "Hey, why don't you just pet it first."

 

in the change log it said "You can now capture Dogs" so I assume via a Capture Pod, now, that's NOT the pet system, its the Capture system, throw a capture pod at a mob who had under 50% health. The pet system is not implemented yet. Captured animals will fight for you, follow you, and teleport if trapped, they can only be picked back up if they die, or you use another capture pod on them, I put mine in my ship, so he can't get lost lol
