1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Server Help how to join a server?

    Can someone explain to me how to join a friends server.
    He can log into his server using his IP address using both hamachi and internal IP
    I cant seem to join him in the game. I tried inputting the external IP, internal IP and the direct tunnel from hamachi and none of them work.
    He has port forwarded the game and set up the configuration on starbound.config.

    Ok so if he wants to join the server hes hosting all he has to do is put in 127.0.0.1 as the IP. Make sure that his firewalls arent blocking the connection because that can also have an effect. Make sure you use the ip he gets from whatsmyip.org

    to be honest I don't either and it keeps giving me an error saying "no such account 'unknown' or server password its annoying
