    Nuts, don't think I have that thing anymore xD
    Welp, no shiny broadsword for my avian then, even though I have been in love with staves as of late... Would have been nice to have in my weapon collection.

    Make another character and go through the intro, then put their broken broadsword in a chest on a planet your current character has access to. You can then delete the new character, and take your Avian to get the broken broadsword.

    My reply was assuming that OP wanted to do this without cheats, or was even potentially playing on a server where they aren't an admin.
