I'd invite you to my home if it weren't for the hundreds of kilometers to the middle of Germany and the fact that I really need to clean my place.

I really wish it was as easy as to get up and just go to visit other countries. German architecture looks so pretty

Woah that's pretty! I live in old greenbelt, one of the few cities designed by a president. Roosevelt in this case, designed to be an idyllic community. It's pretty nice and small, with everything in walking distance. (Well... within 5 miles. But considering I walk 3mi to school every day, I've a different standard for walking distance )

Greenbelt looks pretty dead in winter.

 

Nice architecture! I don't need anything to be in walking distance, we have pretty solid public transportation here. I don't even need or desire a car, because using the bus or the subway is much cheaper and easier

Get over here when we have our annual event of illumating the entire inner city with pretty lights:

 

I mean, Greenbelt's very community oriented. The events are great fun, and an excellent opportunity for profit. We've the greenman festival, a farmers market every other week in the spring/summer, oh! Laborday's also big here. I'm just a little sad the New Deal Cafe is going out. They've always got bands playing, and have great Indonesian food.
Still, if you want to know where the best Chinese food is, it's here. Beijing. Authentic and perfected.

 

In my city, that's Gourmet-Palast ("Gourmet palace"). Still, I wanna visit the states one day. Like, all 50 of them.
