Chat Hels Chatroom III: We've been to Helen back!

So my vehicle decided to be a PoS today and died. I've no idea why. Battery's just dead. And I have to be at work in less than two hours and traffic at this time of day takes about 60-90 minutes.

And everyone who I work with that lives as far out as I do left about 30-40 minutes ago and it'd take them too long to turn around and come back.

And the closest Uber is like... 20 minutes away.

I don't think I'll be late, but I called ahead just in case and told them what's going on.

Everything decided to go wrong today in the span of less than an hour. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

 

Get your electronics checked, seems like something didn't shut off when it was supposed to do so and drained the battery. Or maybe the battery's just done for.

It's going well. Although... Any good ideas for games to help me train my sniping? I want to play Borderlands 2 for it, but my friend doesn't want to. And then I ran out of ideas for good games to train sniping. Then there was mention of playing some multiplayer games, but I hate other people.

Sniper Elite V2 and III are fun, single player games where you can destroy anything from tanks to soldiers' testicles with a Sniper Rifle. And it will do so with x-ray vision like the latest Mortal Kombat.

It is focused on realism too, so you'll have to compensate for altitude, wind direction, coriolis, etc.

 

Battlefield if you're into that sort of thing.

 

hmm. I feel that Battlefield is a bit too multiplayer-focused for our misantropic friend here...

Pretty funny story today:


Had tech class this morning. As usual, I working on my desk, in the far side of the classroom. This is my favourite spot (I growl at anyone who tries to take it away from me), and it happens to be located right next to the room's printer.
Whenever someone prints something, I love to take a look at it before they do, it's one of the things that breaks the monotony (hey, tech classes are up to four hours long, gotta make them bearable!)

So this morning, a bit bored after finishing my stuff, I hear the printer booting and printing something.

I take a look at the paper.

Mistakes were made.

I laughed like a retard, I'm glad the teacher wasn't there at the time.
