What did I just watch?

 

People who protested perceived injustice (read: they actually have to work for a living and right-wing parties can take part in the democratic process) by destroying the property of innocent people getting blown away by the police. I love that sight, to be honest. In Afghanistan, a huge part of the QRFs tasks was to support the Afghan police, so basically we were a mixture of soldiers and policemen (without the non-lethal weapons though, because they are banned as 'unnecessarily cruel weapons' by the Geneva conventions and can't be used by militaries. Needless to say, the Geneva conventions weren't written with civil wars in mind.) so to this day I'm an absolute ace at directing traffic.

Ordered a pair of GTX1070s and a WD 250GB SSD for my computer, which arrive in about... oh... 12 hours? Can't wait to get my hands on them. ^^

Been feeling much better; I'm about 90% of my usual capacity. Now if I could just get rid of this headache and occasional cough, I'd have it made.

Got my truck back. The auto shop made it look amazing. You can't even tell it was in an accident anymore.

Also been leveling up Astrologian in FFXIV. Some people were all "Awww, look at the widdle healer, so cute" in the Sunken Temple of Qarn dungeon run, until I pretty much solo'd the first boss for them. Teratotaur is no joke. (Context for the uninitiated: Sunken Temple of Qarn is an instanced dungeon for level ~37 parties, and the first boss is--no joke--a demon. A literal demon. One that casts Doom [read: instant death in 10 seconds] on the entire party at random intervals, and summons bees that can KO a tank in one hit thanks to their suicide ability, Final Stinger. And it's the first boss you encounter in the dungeon. I've seen it end runs before.) Let's just say I saved the day and I'm feeling pretty chipper about it.
