Because the game states all the controls in terms of a controller. I have no idea what the X button is mapped to, much less the second joystick.

I may seem a little unhinged right now. There's a reason for that though. I opened the latter and yep, I got kicked out of uni for failing one particular course. So right now I have two choices: Crippling poverty and some dead-end job or re-enlisting.

I didn't think you could get kicked out of uni for failing a course. I guess things are way more lax here. As long as you pay, you can try as many times as you like.
For what it's worth, I'm a college dropout on my way to Canada to try and make a living. I don't exactly lead a life of luxury, but I get by with a little comfort and the occasional splurging on a good day.

Heck, I own all three current gen video game consoles and a 3DS. I am obviously not doing too bad for myself here. I only have very skewed priorities, that's all...

 

In Germany, if you fail a course "finally", i.e. without further chance to redo it, you get the boot. That particular course is not offered anymore, so fuck me I guess.
