Day 49 huh... I suddenly miss State of Decay...
Such a hidden gem. And we're talking about a zombie apocalyse survival game released in a time they are a-dime-a-dozen.

 

and i have to start of with the faulty blunderbuss. that didnt do shit to any of them. and i was running out of ammo like alot... and the horde gets bigger and bigger and bigger every 7 days...

OH zombies, man I love zombie games, I used to have an irrational fear of them though. NOT ANYMORE.

There comes a point in our lives where most of the things we own are bought by us, even when other people gift them to us.

So why not spoil oneself for a change?

Then I would suggest to not call anyone you know 'friends', and to not think of them as such.

 

While I can understand not trusting anyone immediately, I would advise against being aloof with everyone.

 

That's a much safer way to live. I don't trust anyone until they are proven trustworthy.

 

And since when life is about safety?

Well, that's fine if you want to live that way. But like many things in life, trust is not free. Can't demand something without giving something in return, you know...

 

Basic survival instinct.
But, of course, if you are willing to trust anyone you meet, and deal with the consequences - you are free to do so. I just shared my opinion on the subject, and it doesn't matter to me whether or not anyone will listen to it.

 

Sharing a opinion is different than suggesting one should do the same.
Besides, you are doing everyone here a disservice by assuming we are naive enough to trust complete strangers. That's not how friendships work.

And you do realize survival instict can push you to take risks, right? Survival isn't about safety, it's about outlasting.

 

The terms are different, but they are also very similar. Just like opinion - suggestion can be disregarded and ignored.
To me, personally, you are naive. Too naive for your age.

Yes, but it is also about avoiding unnecessary risks.
