You don't even need to. The Knights take out three of them and the last one dies of fright or something.

 

" Knights! Group round Vistar, you'll protect him at all costs! "

Vistar looks around, hoping there is no more hostiles

 

Nope. This room is clear... for now.

 

Vistar looks all his Knights over...he wonders if any of them are smart enough, or still have enough residual personality to understand him

 

They probably could understand orders, but definitely not have a conversation with you.

 

Vistar sighs

" All of you will stay near me as we make our way to the main reactor, engaging any threats that are encountered. You will not pursue threats that are unawares of us. Clear? "

 

They do something that's like a nod but not quite a nod.

 

Vistar nods back, beginning to make his way to the main reactor, taking all the most secluded routs

 

Once you get about halfway there, some alarms start to go off. A group of Elites spot you and your Knights and attack.

 

Mie walks up to cell door and grips the bars, pushing and pulling in an attempt to free herself, but doesn't exactly expect anything to come of it.

"What are you doing? That's not going to work... Wait... do you hear that?" Plu asks as she tries to listen to the gunfire from below.

 

Nothing budges, but the gunfire goes on for a few more seconds and stops. You hear it again, but closer this time.

 

Mie takes a few steps away from the cell, extending her arm out towards her cellmate while looking back at her. "You might want to stand up." The Sangheili states in the language Plu understands.

The Kig-Yar stands up a bit reluctantly. "Why? It's not like we can run anywhere if they come in here and shoot us." Plu says as she stays behind her ally. Mie just rolls her eyes after her response.

 

The gunfire stops. A few seconds later, you hear footsteps and the door to the prison area opens. A trio of Elites come in. They don't look Covenant though. These Elites are from the Swords of Sanghelios. After a short discussion, one comes over and unlocks your cell.
"If you want to help, take these and follow us."
He holds out a needler and a plasma pistol.

 

At first, Mie tenses up when the door opened, expecting the Covenant to enter the room, but relief when seeing allies. Plu didn't fully grasp what they said, but knew Swords of Sanghelios when she saw them and got the general idea when they handed them weapons.
"Took them all long enough." Plu says to Mie jokingly, presuming that neither of the other three would understand her. Plu's Elite friend ignores her comment.
"I'm your shield and your sword." Mie responds as she takes the two firearms, passing the needler to the Jackal and keeping the plasma pistol for herself.

 

They head back out through the door. Looks like there won't be much waiting around.

 

Plu and Mie follow the trio, the Sangheili checking the ammunition on her pistol.
"What is our plan?"

 

It's at 100% charge.
"We either take this ship or we destroy it."

 

"Plu can operate this vessel if we do attempt to take it."

 

"That may be a useful skill. Our pilot was killed earlier..."

You and your Knights are discovered by a group of Elites. They aren't Covenant... but it doesn't look like your Knights know that.

"Listen up! Wherever those cruisers are landing, we're going to find them. If they're looking for something, we need to get there first. We have reports of two more carriers landing over in that direction. Lucky for us, we got some air support."
You spot one Pelican over the trees that lands in the middle of the trail you took down here.
"Leave the tanks too. We'll get someone to pick them up later. We have about a minute until the rest of them get here, so let's get moving!"
