@Jirky-Kake "Don't shoot! We have a floating Forerunner here who says he's your friend." It isn't very effective. You can't really run faster than it turns. When it fires, it almost takes down your shield. Almost. "YUP." The Elite runs back over to the comms station and tells them not to shoot. You see a very large reactor with a little glowing ball in the middle. This must be it. It isn't likely anyone heard you over all the gunfire. They're also all in the crater, so distance would be a factor too...
(What turret is on the warthog?) When Lucas brings the hunter around, Jake shoots at the winter's back, hoping to destroy the back armor plate at the very least.
A few have taken a hit or two, but nothing too severe. Some of the Elites that said they'd join you are kicking the ones who didn't out of the room. It's actually a bit entertaining to watch. ((Back armor plate? And machine gun.)) When it turns around, you hit it in the back with a large amount of lead. It turns and fires, hitting the Warthog. It does enough damage to make the engine smoke a bit, but it'll run. You should probably get out before... @HunterC1998 and you, Jake Never mind. It's dead now. Michael's Hunter freaks out, going into rage mode. He just takes off running as it slams its fists into the ground. You have some pretty bad accuracy at this distance, but the enemies are spread out so that you can hit them easily. The marines keep looking up at you. Looks like they know you're a Promethean.
Vistar pats the ones who're slightly injured, hoping he could find a way to repair them. He turns to the scene, watching with a chuckle
Jake fires at the other hunter as much as he could, as long as the back plate faced him, and looked at what Michael was doing.
"Forerunner? I thought he was some promethean..." Mie responds as she looks to Plu. The jackal simply shrugs before asking, "Does this mean we still fire?" "No. Power down the weapons." the elite replies before speaking (whatever the universal language is), "Let me speak to him."
After a few moments it's over. Now all the Covenant-loyal aliens are out. "Whoever is on the comms wants to speak to you." You see Jake in the Warthog turret. He's firing at the one chasing Michael. Michael is running away from the Hunter, shooting behind him as he goes. A few seconds later, the turret locks up and begins to cool down. "Alright." There's silence as the Elite goes to get him.
Jake jumps out of the turret position and starts shooting with his needles, before taking cover after about half of a needle (mag? Clip? Whatever.) Ammo count
It sounds like glass breaking. There's only on explosion though. You have about 33 needles left. Nothing in this section. You do spot a few forces elsewhere though. ((I'll wait for @Jirky-Kake to respond.)) It isn't doing too much really. You could use the Fuel Rod Gun. Now you can hear Michael yelling things like 'why me?' at the Hunter.
That didn't work. Looks like you'll have to shoot at Michael to hit the Hunter. The projectile is pretty slow, so it needs travel time.
