Not very lively and yet still one of the top 10 threads in the hangouts area.

Is Starbound itself really just that dead now?

 

I think the answer is twofold, yes kinda starbound is a little dead but what's even more dead are forums in and of themselves, while programs that effectively do the same thing have existed in the past with the advent of discord creating your own hangout for you and like minded people has never been easier, this coupled with voice chat has made making a discord server a much better option than making a thread for something like a clan or maybe even a mod in some cases.

 

That was a very profound way of saying "starbound forums suck use discord for lulz"

I mean, not that very surprising considering we migrated to our own forum and then discord killed said forum all during the lifespan of this thread.

Kinda crazy how long ago those first posts on this thread were, huh?
