I've kept the prior release version in the download for the mod in case this one is still very buggy. I'm very busy right now so it's not perfect... :/

As another part of the update, my "Dead-Author Clause" has been updated on the main page.

The revision allows members and contributors of the development team of this mod, access to this mod's rights and ownership before falling to released asset status.

The referred to succession within the metadata is NOT accurate as of now.

I will make the changes in due time, however I can assure I won't mysteriously disappear before I finish it.

 

I expected to be stabbed by crystals or to accidentaly summon the Erechius Ghost, , but it seems Greckan are nice even if you poke, touch the odd crystal "hair" too much.
Expect your own hair to be pulled in return, though.

Otherwise, a very appreciated race to join the universe, They are physically as curious as they are mentally.

PS: Do not try to pull or break off a crystal, unless you are a psychopath that wants to hurt others.

 

I can't find Greckan Npc's on the outpost. Help?

 

What's the theme of this race?
I.E like the novakids are wild west, glitch is medieval, avian is mesoamerican etc.

More or less what the central concept is. Grecco-roman crystal zombies...

 

I am not to be taken serious here, as I am not the author, but seems this race does not really follow a single theme.

At least, I dont know a real-life race that is honestly focused on being calm and diplomatic.

 

But, can anyone also help me?

 

Note previous statement. That's where armor inspiration was pulled from as well as the structure and design of the decor. (Much usage of marble and fabrics, with arches and a central forum for villages)

I believe its a chance occurrence for them to warp in, but you'd have to check up with Inf on that...

The Greckan at the Outpost are visitors. They appear with very uncommon frequency. The intent is that it is simply a "happened" upon event, not a specific goal to achieve.

(If you are really determined to find one, as I probably won't be able to change the spawn rates for a while, you can always spawn one in: "/spawnnpc greckan greckanvisitor" )

The theme is like Jareix also says.
The Greckan are based on Greco-Roman culture with a large focus around crystals.
The armor reflects gladitorial combat armor.
The villages reflect the building style and architecture of that age.
The names are culturally accurate.
Also the clothing you begin with is in-line with the time period.

I know somethings aren't as clear as the vanilla race's make it. But this mod is not anywhere near completed in base content; So please keep that in mind.
