Resolved Game crashes on startup

    Hello, I recently bought and downloaded starbound from the steam store and upon launching the game it is a blackscreen with a white square in the middle. it then crashes and says the game is not responding. I have tried the fixes where you reinstall the visual c++ files, i have reinstalled the game and verified the integrity up to 5 times. My game is not modded.it is in windowed mode by default. my operating system is windows 8.

    Fixed the problem. I turned off my OpenGL triple buffering
