Bug/Issue Game Crashes on Beam Up while Using Station Transponder

Beaming up to ship while a station transponder is being used crashes the game. This only happens if the "connection failed" text has appeared. Beaming down from the ship only crashes if done before the solar system is displayed.

Similarly, for my modded item, beaming up while it's UI is open causes the same crash, but with a stack overflow error.
