Surge walks along the ceiling until he gets to a wall, seeing if this bizarre selective gravity will let him walk on the walls. Sergei decides to check the ship's databanks for any information. He also turns on the ship's radio communications to listen for chatter.

That odd little obelisk shaped device he probably stuffed into his coat. He checks the pockets to find it.
He starts at her jumping and quickly heads for the edge, peering over. He nods and sets her down, he doesn't stay more than two steps away from her in any situation.

Now that's interesting. Surge keeps going, he might just have to browse what this place has in store. If this thing is a codex, he might just have a few queries for it. Sergei first run's Bevery's name through what search function the thing might have.

Surge grabs a gun more substantial than his pistol as he heads towards this light. Sergei accesses the archive. He starts searching for names, those of his friends and his own to see what they might have on file.

It was a roiling mass of metallic black tendrils, now, it's a horrid owl like creature, making it's way toward you.. ---------- It seems to be a sleekly armored, thin guard with a long black ponytail coming out of the helmet...You notice Aurore's rapier at their side... " Away...." She sniffles again...As you two round the corner, she ducks to the ground, pushing you down to as she backs up around the corner...You nearly just avoided detection by a group of soldiers...
Kevin backs up too. He waits until he's certain they're gone ((Avali super hearing!)) and then whispers really quietly, "What's with the sniffles?"
William is looking at the thing and not knowing what to make of it, but Roy heads in without much question and he slowly does the same, "This rust bucket fly?"
