    Alright I am about to ask something you have been asked a million times by me. I haven't been on starbound in quite a few months now, so obviously I knew it needed to update as well as have a mod update. I just want to make sure I am good on this one. I downloaded it and extracted it to the mod file and couldn't find the .Pak file in the extracted files. So i deleted the old .Pak file I did have in the "mods go here" file because it would crash on start up and put only the extracted file renamed to Fracking universe in. Stupid question here but if it says powered by Fracking universe on title screen and I can still go to the science outpost everything is good right?

    Just a missing/improperly named animation file (probably from the aforementioned densinium weapon), he'll have it fixed shortly I'd think.

    EDIT: Oh, I see the problem. Wrong file path.

    should be

    Thank you, this is very helpful, but the trouble is that without permission to redistribute the packaged version of Frackin Universe, this would create mismatch problems with players that downloaded the unpackaged version here.

    If I may have permission to redistribute a .pak version of Frackin Universe, I would be happy to sort it out myself.

    Otherwise, releasing Frackin Universe in .pak form again would be a huge help to server owners.

    That I can, but the issue is again the trouble with how rented servers are setup with/ Starbound - there's no way (that I know of) to run workshop mods on a server (at least through this company) due to.. I think its folder structure issues, not running steam localhost side, something like that... the result is needing to pull the .pak file out of its workshop folder, drop it into steambound mods like any other mod file... and then I run right back into the mismatch issue with players who downloaded the mod here, on top of no longer matching up w/ steam-downloaded players either :\

    I'm truly not trying to insist you folk should do more work, its awesome that you upkeep FU as much as you do!
    But if this is a small thing from a dev standpoint, it would be a big thing for those of us stuck renting FTP-access-only servers.

    Hmmm... there is a point there, but the reason we discontinued the .pak version was because it was difficult to work with. It was always updated last, and it was always several updates behind because of the sheer amount of time having to maintain 3 different releases of the same mod...

    I dunno maybe sayter's got an idea of how to actually deal with this.

    I can't seem to unlock methyl iodine(/iodide?) or morphite. I have all the prerequisites/ingredients listed on the wiki but maybe they aren't up to date. My mistake? If so can someone tell me how to find the learnBlueprintsOnPickup for an item on github so I don't do this again?

    Step 1: Enter "morphite" (or iodide) into the search box.
    Step 2: Find the .item or .recipe amongst the results, look for "itemName" or a "learnblueprintsonpickup".

    Pretty much all you have to do. I'll do morphite for you.

    Step 1, I notice there's a "morphitebar.item".
    Step 2, I click that and see the itemname is also "morphitebar".
    Step 3, I enter "morphitebar" into the search box, and look for "learnblueprintsonpickup"
    Step 4, two things have it: morphitebar (picking a bar up allows you to learn how to make said bar) and morphite ore.

    So basically, literally, you need morphite ore to make a morphite bar.

    So, let's search morphite ore.

    turns out that graphene teaches you morphite ore.

    If you still can't find it, try upgrading your Chem Lab.

    I experienced a curious and problematic error just now. When I completed a quest, the questgiver just disappeared. (No dying animation or anything - just plain vanished.)

    Digging through the log, I found this entry:

    I haven't read all the posts up to this point, so I might have missed this one, but I'll say it anyway: I would like Science Outpost borders to be a bit, uh, wider. the map ends onscreen rather abruptly, revealing its edges.

    Also, that Vagabond set I've been staring at for the past five or so months, headache instead of recollection, eyes almost bleeding... I've finally figured out what it reminded me of. It's Deckard. From Blade Runner. Isn't it?

    Jeez, Frozen Wastes stepped it up a hard notch. Does anyone know the best equipment to get by this dungeon I use to get through just fine before Starbound was officially released?

    Another question, have the blender recipes for isogen/xithricite/pyreite/etc. been removed? I can only see the recipes for the bars from the ores, and I've had no luck tracking down the secondary recipes on github either.
