That's easy, get any spear that has the Rocket Spear secondary. Dump the mech offscreen, and use the spear to go the rest of the way.

EDIT: And dude, that ship looks rather nice hehe. At least it doesn't look like a floating piece of scrap metal like some of the bandit ships do.

 

Felins have they own mech body's right? If yes then i have a problem. I getting human mech body.

mechbody is loading correctly. but i can get it only if i using spawnitem command.

I have no spear. I did not lie. I /warp'd there and swam.

Tested it on Stable just now -- I select the Laenathin 0 body from the mech part crafting station, and get it. I select Laenathin X, I get that... I can't fix what I can't reproduce.

 

But... but... not working here... not in crafting station not in mission reward. Cleaned all saves, started new game. completed new test run. not working.

maybe we have conflict with some mods. need more testing.

well. test with only felin mod failed. still getting only human mechbody.

and i using steam workshop for mods

 

So I just looked it up on Starbounder.... I'm getting Human Mech Body too. Didn't realize it until now, but yeah. I'm using the Workshop version of Firrhna Project, I'm playing as a felin, I'm pretty sure I have the Felin Body selected, but I get the human mech body. I didn't realize it because I never played a human, but yeah, there it is.

EDIT: Let me check to make sure it's the right body selected in the equip screen...

 

Okay. I literally just tried this, on Stable...

 

Weird, because I got Venturer-00 when I started.

What's the /spawnitem for the felin body?

EDIT: Maybe there was an error or something in the mod that's been fixed since the first Stable 1.3 release of Felins, and the reason we have human mech bodies is because we started our characters before this was fixed?

EDIT2: Nevermind, I just used /admin and made the Laenathin-0 Body from the mech parts console.

Player.config. There is no deploymentConfig/speciesStarterMechBody/felin key so you start with the Venturer-00. I'm adding it now.

Done. Redownload if you're not getting this from the Workshop. This update also has the spaceship teased earlier. Feel free to /spawnitem a mechbodyfelinproto to make up for this oversight.

That depends on what you consider "correct". I had no issues with it even before this last update.

 

Glad you found the bug! And as I mentioned above, /admin and building the felin body from the console works too. lol. That's what I did earlier.

Hope to run into that spaceship sometime soon, though hehe.

 

Well, i'll checking this mod later. And correct behavior i think is

1. After completing quest "Test Drive" my new mech will have racial starting mechbody and i can craft another mechbody.
2. After completing quest "Advanced Test Drive" i can craft advanced racial mechbody.

When i reported bug i can't craft racial mechbody and i rewarded with human protomechbody. and i can obtain recipe and parts only trough admin commands.
I hope after mod updates this will all work correctly.

Is the advanced mech also unlocked properly ?

Hey, Kawa? Just wondering - when I finally get to building the Alifa Stream I Felin Settlement, how in the world would I get Felin comforters to move in?

 

Gotta find out what furniture tags invite what kinds of NPCs, like any other tenant.

If you're not using the workshop version, you can simply browse the files with notepad++ to find out.
