Error Pasting an IP - Non-deleteable "//////////////"

    A friend of mine has a very weird issue. He copy and pasted an IP into his multiplayer IP field, but when he pasted what came up was "//////" He cannot delete this and upon leaving and returning to the menu, the slashes persist. I convinced him to buy this game and feel awful that he can't join me.
