Erchius Horror Boss Crashes

I've been trying to get the Erchius Eye drop from the first boss, but the game constantly crashes on the 2nd or 3rd phase of the boss (and that's besides the fact that I've actually gone through it 86 times without the item dropping).

This is ridiculous. This drop shouldn't be so hard if the boss is going to be impossible to beat half of the time.

Edit: To be clear, I'm using 1.3.1 of the game. I just wanted to make sure no one thought this was the same problem that was patched back here.

 

Please post a log from the crash. Usually when users have an issue we don't have the same issue, and we need as much information as possible to reproduce it or see what is wrong.

Alright, I have one from an instance where I actually finished the mission despite the atrocious lag. Luckily the near-crash happened at the very tail end of the fight, so I had to wait out the button press. I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be any warnings or errors during the event, but there seem to be quite a few before it comes up.

we don't currently have a log but i could get one if needed. my partner has a lower spec pc than mine, and it exhibits the same issue, however it must purely be to do with graphical rendering, as they're the host but i can still kill it for them if they make sure they aren't in the mission themselves. their pc has intel HD 4000 series(windows), mine has gigabyte 'xtreme gaming' 1070(linux). sorry if it's considered necro posting, i just figured seeing as it's the same bug seemingly, it would be more appropriate especially when the thread was never marked as solved suggesting it's ongoing

 

okay so... perhaps it's fixed now? either that or.... there is this mod: (pick the one relevant to you obviously) https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1108763220 which may have fixed it for him i feel? if so maybe an in game config option to choose threads the game runs on should be implemented
