Tutorial Easy backups

Why would i do that?
If you are playing on a server, you might meet woh don´t want you to enjoy it (hackers, griefers, etc.) If you don´t want to loose your character forever (i lost 6), then continue reading.


Starcheat
This is what this guide is based on. It is an external tool, used to easyly edit Charakters in Starbound (You have to close Starbound before editing an Char). If you dont wanna be a "cheater", then just dont spawn any items.

Ok, let's do this
After installing the assets (Starcheat will do that automaticly), Open your character. In the Left corner there is an 'File' option. After clicking on it, you see some options but you will need only SAVE and RELOAD.

So for now, you can just put Starcheat in the background, just remember to reload sometimes to have the newest version of your character backuped.

Ok, i hope you sad that to the guy who corrupted you char or griefed your ship. But don't worry, u have Starcheat still open, haven't you. Just go to 'File' nad clik on SAVE. Now just open Starbound and enjoy your saved character.
