Does Starbound have something like this?

In Terraria, there's Corruption, Crimson, and Hollow which are all dangerous and completely take over a world if left alone long enough.

Is there anything similar to that in Starbound? I was thinking of making a new save with a new set of planets and try to "clean up" that planet slowly. Or at least mods that adds a bigger element of challenge such as more dangerous biomes/minibiomes that are more than just explosive damage. Like adding thorns everywhere.

    starbound has the flesh biome(crimson)
I think it has a corruption equivalent but not a hallow.
there is terraforming also, and it is a slow process.

The crystal biome could be a somewhat snowy Hallow
Now, for corruption... Mutated biome maybe?

It appears only on chilly planets for what I know
And, welp, apart from the crystals, it ain't much "Hallowed" than that but well xD

    No. No such thing.
As was noted above, there are biomes which are similar in appearance, and they can be modified via terrafroming. But Starbound has no concept of a "biome biosystem", as in "I place some blocks and after certain threshold a new biome is created". Placed blocks do not create biomes, and biomes are completely static since generation.
